A+ Matcha with LMW Collagen Is in Stock — the Raw Material Behind Your Own Beauty Drink

The “beauty drink” category is growing faster than brands can be built to fill it. The idea is the easy part — anyone can picture collagen with matcha. The hard part is sourcing a raw material that holds up: a collagen you don’t have to dose ten grams at a time, a matcha that doesn’t taste like hay, and a composition that actually lets you write something on the pack. That is the raw material we now have in stock.

What A+ Matcha LMW collagen is

A finished blend of three components in a fixed ratio: 48 % grade A+ Japanese matcha, 48 % low-molecular-weight bovine collagen COLLinstant ultra active +® by Viscofan and 4 % acerola. Nothing else — no sweeteners, no flavourings, no fillers. Standard supply is a 5 kg bulk raw material you turn into your own finished product.

Under the Matcha Tea brand you may know this combination as a finished consumer drink. On matchab2b.com we offer it the other way round: as an input raw material for your own brand.

Japanese matcha and low-molecular-weight collagen — raw materials for a functional drink

Why low-molecular-weight collagen, not just “collagen”

The difference is not marketing. An ordinary hydrolysate is dosed at around ten grams a day. COLLinstant ultra active +® has a molecular weight of up to 1 000 Da and an effective dose of 2.5 g per day — roughly a quarter of the powder per serving.

For a manufacturer that means three practical things: a serving fits into a 3 g stick, the cost per daily dose falls, and — usually the decisive point — collagen in such a small amount does not overpower the tea. COLLinstant is sensorially neutral, so the result tastes like matcha rather than collagen with a hint of matcha. That is exactly where products in this category most often fail.

Collagen broken down to tri- and dipeptides: highly absorbable LMW collagen

Technically it is a bovine collagen hydrolysate with over 95 % protein in dry matter, allergen-free, GMO-free and with a five-year shelf life.

The acerola is not there for colour

Four per cent acerola looks like a cosmetic entry in the composition. In practice it is the component that decides what you are allowed to print on the pack.

Collagen itself carries no authorised health claim in the EU. Vitamin C, by contrast, carries a whole range — and one of them reads, word for word, “vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin”. Acerola as a natural source of vitamin C therefore legally opens up precisely the communication a collagen drink needs. On top of that come authorised claims on the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, the normal function of the immune system, energy-yielding metabolism and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

It is a detail competing collagen drinks usually lack. Their manufacturers are then left with two bad options: stay silent about the benefit, or write something they are not allowed to write.

What is in stock and what is blended to order

  • In stock: the standard 48 / 48 / 4 blend as a 5 kg bulk raw material.
  • To order: a different ratio, matcha in grades B+ through A+++, portioned 3 g sticks and complete private label including your artwork, EAN and language versions.
  • Sample: a 50 g pack is a regular stock item in the Samples category — buy it straight from the shop, no enquiry needed.
  • Lead times: first production typically 4–8 weeks; repeat orders are faster when packaging material is stored with us.

Quality we can document

Every new batch of matcha goes through an independent laboratory — tested for pesticides, mould, E. coli and heavy metals. Matcha is also available in organic quality. The blend has a 24-month shelf life from production, is blended in the Czech Republic and manufactured by Kyosun s.r.o.

  • Allergen-free under Regulation 1169/2011
  • GMO-free, gluten-free, lactose-free, no added sugar
  • Documented origin — Japanese matcha, European collagen

How to start

There is no enquiry form to fill in. A 50 g sample can be bought straight from the shop like any other item — test the taste, solubility and colour in your own recipe before you commit to a 5 kg pack.

Once you know what you want, write to sales@kyosun.com with the matcha grade, ratio and format you have in mind and we will prepare a quotation and a lead time. The full specification is on the A+ Matcha LMW collagen raw-material page. We adapt the ratio to your product, not the other way round.

The health claims referred to relate to the vitamin C from the acerola contained in the blend and are authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. Collagen itself carries no authorised health claim; its peptides are valued for bioavailability and amino-acid profile. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
