Print Data – Templates & Guidelines
Everything you need to prepare print assets for self-adhesive labels and fully printed doypacks — formats, bleeds, safe zones, and official templates.
Self-adhesive labels — requirements
Standard for all self-adhesive labels (including tins and doypacks with a label):
- Scale 1:1; 3 mm bleed on all sides; 3 mm safe zone from the trim.
- CMYK (Pantone upon agreement), max total ink 300%; embedded bitmaps, min. 300 dpi.
- Convert text to outlines; crop marks outside the bleed; deliver as a press-ready PDF.
- Background artwork must extend into the bleed; the client is responsible for regulatory text accuracy.
Fully printed doypacks — requirements
Technical requirements for full-color pouch printing:
- Scale 1:1; 2 mm bleed; 2 mm safe zone from the die line (no text in seal areas).
- Layers: ① artwork, ② die line (spot
cut-line), ③ white underprint (spotspot-white, overprint). - ISO Coated v2 CMYK (+ Pantone on request), no RGB/transparencies; max TAC 280% in dark areas.
- Min. 300 dpi; type ≥ 3 pt (positive) / ≥ 4 pt (reverse); strokes ≥ 0.25 pt / 0.3 pt.
- EAN scalable 80–200%; on paper-surface pouches, seal areas may lighten — varnish recommended.
- Black mark 8×5 mm, always black; on transparent/metallic films place a solid white underprint beneath.

Frequently asked questions
In which format should we deliver the print data?
Press-ready PDF (PDF/X-4 for labels; PDF/X-3/4 for doypacks), CMYK, no transparencies, embedded bitmaps min. 300 dpi, text outlined. For doypacks, include the cut-line and spot-white layers.
How do we prepare the white underprint on transparent/metallic film?
Create a separate top layer in a spot color named spot-white set to overprint. Do not place the white underprint in seal and zipper zones.
How should we set the EAN code and fine elements?
EAN 80–200%. Minimum type size: 3 pt (positive) / 4 pt (reverse). Minimum line weight: 0.25 pt / 0.3 pt.
Do you offer a fully recyclable pouch?
Yes — we also offer the fully printed doypack in a 100% recyclable BOPP material (MOQ from 500 pcs).
