Certification & Laboratory Testing
Our philosophy is simple: safety and transparency. Every batch of matcha undergoes independent testing (pesticides, heavy metals, microbiology incl. E. coli, yeasts and moulds, and PAHs). For key product lines, the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH/SZÚ) issues a Health Safety Certificate.
Why We Test Every Batch
Matcha is consumed whole (not just as an infusion), hence rigorous control is essential. We maintain batch protocols for fast retrieval and audit readiness.
Pesticides
Multiresidue screening for a wide spectrum of substances in compliance with EU limits.
LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MSHeavy Metals
Testing for lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic for toxicological safety.
ICP-MSMicrobiology
E. coli, yeasts and moulds, total plate count for hygienic safety.
Accredited methodsPAHs
Targeted determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with long-term monitoring.

From sample collection in Japan to batch release for sale.
Sampling & Sealing
Directly in Japan with full traceability of origin.
Independent Testing
Accredited laboratories perform complete analysis (pesticides, heavy metals, microbiology, PAHs).
Internal Verification
Comparison with EU limits and sensory evaluation (colour, aroma, taste, texture).
Batch Release
Approval for sale and protocol archiving for immediate retrieval.
